Sad Church

here's a song that sounds like a church that's sad. maybe like sometimes when little kids draw houses and the windows look like eyes and the door looks like a mouth. maybe that kind of church. and it's singing this song.

ps, and there's a tree with green squiggly circles for leaves.

Joshua Tree National Park

hey. we went to joshua tree national park yesterday. it's a crazy place. sometimes it looks like thunder mountain. sometimes it looks like the moon. joshua trees look like something out of a dr. seuss book. and they could also look like the drummer, animal, in the muppets. anyway, it's a cool place. here's a pic or two. check out the other ones at our flickr page.

Chinese New Year

we were in beijing for three weeks in january. have you ever been to beijing for chinese new year? they shoot off fireworks everywhere. it's crazy. in the middle of the street, on the sidewalk, it doesn't matter. and big ones too. baseball game quality. it's kind of like being at fifty baseball games all at once.

PS, now we're in the desert east of LA recording our second album. we'll be in the middle of nowhere for a while. more to follow...
